China-EU Superhard Materials Innovation Research Institute plans to settle in Zhengzhou

On July 13, Vice Mayor Shi Zhanyong met with the delegation of China University of Geosciences (Beijing). The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the establishment of the China-Europe Superhard Materials Innovation Research Institute, the development of science and technology research, the transformation of school-enterprise achievements, and the training of high-tech talents.

 

It is understood that the China-Europe Superhard Materials Innovation Research Institute, which is being discussed and proposed, is planned to be built by China University of Geosciences (Beijing), and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Education will guide the establishment of the Zhengzhou High-tech Zone and Ukraine, Poland, Sweden, Russia and other countries. Institutions and research institutions participate in the preparation. The institute is positioned at the forefront of the world of super-hard materials and is committed to cultivating industry-leading companies with international influence.

 

Shi Zhanyong said that Zhengzhou City is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading of traditional industrial industries. He hopes that China University of Geosciences (Beijing) will take advantage of the scientific research strength and intellectual resources in universities and universities, and will integrate Zhengzhou superhard materials industry through cooperation platforms such as innovation research institutes. We will concentrate on the integration of development resources and strive to gain a place in the international arena. At the same time, we will take a new path in the combination of production, study and research in combination with the innovative advantages of our own districts.

 

Before the meeting, the delegation went to the Xinda Advanced Technology Research Institute, Zhongnan Jiete Superhard Materials Co., Ltd. and Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd. for on-the-spot investigation and face-to-face communication with six superhard materials companies.
